Mawaddat
7 January 2022By Prof Zaid Gul Khattak
Ibn e Arabi (ra) says do not say Allah is here and there because that is disrespectful to The Almighty Rabb.
Instead, say Allah is with us everywhere. This is more appropriate. Allah is Rafi ud Darajaat and Rafi us Samawat. He is above all. And creator of everything. His might, His Power and His Bulundi is beyond our comprehension and understanding. Allahu Akbar. Subhanallhul azeem.
Beloved Rasoolallah (s) said, I am with my Rabb and He feeds me.
We may also say Allah is with us but we should never say He is here.
In the Qur'an it says Allah is with the Sabireen. And with the Mutaqeen.
If an Arif or a Salik is blessed with mushahida and Marifat, then they must keep quiet and not tell anyone these secrets. Observe adab strictly like you do in prayers. And never tell anyone. It is not the protocol.
Beloved Rasoolallah (s) said, keep the secret a secret that is the best. Or you will be left behind.
Data Sab (ra) said, when I knew not, I would talk. Now that I know, I am quiet.
When a secret is disclosed, one must keep it to themselves and observe silence and strict adab. If you do, you will be blessed.
The one who is given this blessing is sadatmand. And every saeed has Allah's pleasure.
Anyone who gives pain to Ahl ul Inaya, pain to Sahaba e Ikram, pain to Awliyah Allah, pain to Wali Allah, pain to Ahl ul Bayt - these people with burn in Hell for it.
The ignorant people did not realise that saadat cannot be achieved without the love and muaddat of the Ahl ul Bayt.
Physical and Meta-Physical Creation
7 January 2022By Prof Zaid Gul Khattak
Ibn e Arabi (ra) says the direction of your focus and attention should always be Allah (face).
All creation is the manifestation of Allah's irada. All creation is from Allah and their focus and attention is also towards Allah. Thus wherever you look, you look at Allah's Face. Whether you apparently are looking at mountains, rivers, trees, rain, flowers, parents, children, birds the sky, sea world under the sea etc. In actuality you are looking at its Creator, Allah.
According to Ibn e Arabi (ra) and the philosophy of Sufism - we call this itibar, imkaan and majaaz.
Creation is physical and metaphysical. We cannot see the metaphysical world, like ruh, thoughts, emotions, alam e misaal, alam e misaak, alam e malakoot, angels. Angels can be seen as humans, like were seen by Beloved Rasoolallah's (s) wives, daughter and companions. We cannot see the metaphysical world with our dunya or zahiri eyes. However, we can see it with our Batini eyes.
Our world is itibar o imkaan o majaaz. Allah has created it.
Maratib
7 January 2022By Prof Zaid Gul Khattak
Ibn e Arabi (ra) says Real Maratib (status) is what is determined according to Qur'anic ilm. For example the first few lines of Surah Baqarah mention the Mutaqeen. It means that Aqeeleen are those who gain Hidayah from the Qur'an. If we consider anyone Aqalmand, we must see, has he obtained Hidayah from the Qur'an? If he has, only then can he be considered Aqalmand.
Qur'an mentions Sabireen. Mutaqaleen. Saeymeen. Saeymaat. Muslaymeen. Muslaymaat. Momayneen. Momaynaat. Mohsayneen. Mohsaynaat. Thus we see that Ilmillah has different status. Ilmillah is also ilm e Rasool (s) because Allah says my Nabi (s) doesn't even speak from his own desires. It is his tongue but Allah's words.
Therefore whoever follows Beloved Rasoolallah (s) follows Allah.
Ibn e Arabi (ra) says Status Martaba is in direct accordance with Marifat, in front of Allah, Rasoolallah (s), in Akhibat and in Spirituality Ruhaniyat.
The Ainiyat of these Maratib on the day of Rueeyat will be disclosed. Rueeyat is Allah's deedar, which is in Batin.
A salik seeker does Mujahida, Muraqaba and eventually Mushahida. Mushahida is to see Rabb's Husn in your Batin. This is not possible in Khaarij. Only in Batin.
The second possibility is if a person reaches Allah in the Afterlife as a reward deserving person. These are the ones that will have radiant and shinning faces on that day and they will be looking towards their Rabb.
Marifat
7 January 2022By Prof Zaid Gul Khattak
Ibn e Arabi (ra) says if there is anything against Haq, one should stand against it. And if there is anything that is Haq or in line with Haq, then one should accept it and support it. One should hold it in high esteem.
There are two types of "seeing". One is with the bodily eye. The other seeing is with the Qalb's spiritual eyes. Ambiya alayhis salaam and other enlightened people have tasted and enjoyed this type of Qalbi "seeing". These people are Arif.
Then there are people who see only with the eyes of the body, the Nafs. Ibn e Arabi (ra) says these people's relationship with Allah is based only on their wants and needs and they are not enlightened people. They can be muslim and even momin but they are not Arif.
And those who have not seen their Rabb with their nafsi eyes nor their qalbi eyes - they may be muslim but they are jaahil.
Aql
7 January 2022Where are the people of Aql? Moula Ali (as) says, Aql is Noor. It helps you see in its light.
There is an incident i would like to mention here. Once, a non believer came and was told by the Meccans not to listen to the magician who was converting people and making them disbelief their forefathers religion. The man stuffed his ears with some clothe. But when he saw Beloved Rasoolallah's (s) shinning face, and saw him being kind to poor people and feeding the needy, he rejected that advice and went up to him to connect to him and forego his previous beliefs.
Hood (as) asks, Where are the people of Aql, of understanding, of intelligence? Who can get enlightened and see the truth and form a nisbat with their creator.
People should gather around Beloved Rasoolallah (s) so that they may be blessed with Saadat.
Hood
7 January 2022Hood (as) said, you have wasted your Nasab. I delivered Allah's message to you, but you did not pay any heed. You did not follow. So you wasted the chance to connect to you Rabb taala. I on the other hand have completed my duty of delivering you His message and have thus strengthened and beautified my connection with Rabb taala. Earlier I had Marifat but later on it reached new heights. I tried my level best to enlighten you and spark the johar within you, which has the capacity and capability to recognise Haq, the truth. But all of you were too arrogant to listen to me and you wasted your chance.
Nafs
7 January 2022The person who attains Marifat in his Nafs develops a relationship of Love with Allah Almighty and His Ism o Siffaat. He is drowned in beauty and fragrance. This also results in loving relationships with all of Allah's creations. He recognises that Alam is Khadim to him and he is Makhdoom because he is Allah's Khalifa. And his aim is to continuously strive to please Allah and gain His Love, Qurb and Marifat. If any person achieves this, he has achieved his purpose.
Everything belongs in Allah so keep all your nisbat for Him. Focus on Allah and your relationship with Him. Prioritise Allah.
It is Allah who gives you a family, then gives you health to provide for them, then gives you talent to work and earn provisions for them. Without his Taufeeq and His Guidance and His Help, no one can attain anything. All success is because of Allah. All credit belongs to Allah. All success is hidden in Rasoolallah's (s) Love.
Al-Akhir
7 January 2022So Allah knows everything's end and eventuality. Al Akhir has Knowledge of all Zahir and Batin because He knows everyone's Nafs. Nafs is for Marifat. So if the person stays on the right path, following beloved Rasoolallah (s) and the Ambiya (as), then Allah is pleased with them. Allah is Aware of everything.
If someone is in the wrong but prays for Hidayat, Allah gives them Hidayat. But if someone is happy to be on the devils path, this Displeases Him very much. This is the Halakat of one's own Nafs.
